I am always ready to hit the water and enjoy some time fishing. It is fun to hone your skills and meet new challenges whether they be water conditions, weather conditions, or just testing out new gear. What makes the task much more enjoyable is the amazing love and support from my beautiful wife Catharine.
Getting Started in the NPFL
It’s been a wild ride getting started in the National Professional Fishing League. Every day was a series of new challenges with respect to league, sponsor, and personal challenges. From getting sponsorships set and league requirements met to setting up our fan interaction through website and social media, the challenges have been met and overcome.
Getting Ready for the Season
Time is flying by as I am preparing to get set for the opening tournament for the National Professional Fishing League, in March. All systems are “go for launch” and I am ready to put the boat in the water and test my skills in what is expected to be the first of many challenging competitions to come.
My belief is that if you are going run a race, run the race to win. Therefore, setting my primary goal was easy. I want to come out of the end of this season as the top-dog. However, I am also a realist that understands it is little goals that help you “win the battle”. Those goals get set and reset on an on-going basis based on daily outcomes.
